We are deeply saddened to hear about the sad demise of Shri. Bhagat Singh ji, Chairman, A&N State Cooperative Bank & Father of Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma ji, Hon'ble Member of Parliament, A&N Islands who passed away on 27th Oct. 2023 at Hyberabad.
Late. Bhagat Singh ji was very instrumental and contributed immensely towards the development of the Electricity Department while he served as the SE of Electricity Department. Under his leadership, the Electricity Department entered into an era of unprecedented progress.

Port Blair, Oct. 26: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has demanded to restore full helicopter services across the islands.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, the Member of Parliament mentioned that helicopter services are the lifeline of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, providing essential and faster connectivity among different Islands. These services are not just a convenience but an absolute necessity, especially for medical emergencies and other critical transportation needs.
